Hi kids. Is everyone recovered from the holidays and settling back into your routines? We are. We definitely are. My car is about to go in the shop and it needs new tires, my dryer went out, my kids are sickly and our Nola trip is next weekend. Yep, we are back in the swing of things. Wait?? Our Nola trip is next weekend!! Eek! I’m so excited!
I’ve been thinking a lot about my baby blog here. I am having so much fun playing around with recipes, taking amateur pictures of them and telling you my business. I’ve also talked mainly about running. Oh, I am not going to stop that. Running to me is like playing on the play ground with my friends every morning. I love to talk about it. Ask my husband. Or check out my Facebook page, you’ll see.
However, there is a lot more to me than that. I also feel like I’ve gotten into this pattern where I talk about running, post a recipe, talk about running, post a recipe and so on. Well, I think I’m going to switch things up a bit. I’m listening to you guys!
I’ve been trying to figure out exactly what I wanted to do and for some reason my friend Amanda made it all click this morning on our little jog around town. We were talking about Crossfit, general fitness, food, and excuses among other things. The conversation sort of led to short cuts and food prep. Ding ding ding.
I have so much to share with you! I’m going to start talking more about ways I do things in the kitchen, grocery list from different stores, gear that makes my life easier and so on. Of course I’m going to have more and more recipes and keep informing you of my daily grind. You would miss that right??
First things first though, after next Sunday you are going to get a full on race report of my first full marathon. Hopefully it doesn’t involve crying or worse…
I did feel like with the race coming up and the new year I needed to freshen this baby up a bit. So here it is. My ideas.
Keep your questions coming. I get so excited when I hear from you! It means more than just my mom is reading my blog!
